Our featured performer is Dominique Christina. Dominique Christina is an award winning poet and author of four books including Anarcha Speaks, winner of the National Poetry Series. She is a conceptual installation artist for MCA-Denver Holiday Theater and believes that words make worlds.

Our opening act is Andie Zuzarte. Andie is a singer and songwriter born and raised in Rhode Island, now based in Denver, CO. Since the age of five, she’s been writing songs about the ups and downs that plague her everyday life: making friends, falling in and out of love, the emotional hazard that is being a young adult in an immigrant family, to name a few. Andie’s multiple identities – a medical student, an athlete, a child of immigrants, a girl who had her glow up way, way, way after middle school–make her a relatable and charismatic act. She’s since used that charm to recruit a band of medical students who also have immigrants in their families from all over the world. Their mission as musicians is simple: to highlight the diversity of immigrant experiences and make those stories heard in mainstream music. The hope is that listeners will hear their own voices echoed in her lyrics and know that they are both seen and valued.

Come and share what makes your voice sacred!
