Nick will also discuss pointers on how we can more effectively persuade our friends, family, and neighbors to care about farm animals. Nick Cooney is the founder of The Humane League and the Compassionate Communities Campaign Manager for Farm Sanctuary, the country's largest farm animal protection organization. He is also the author of Change of Heart: What Psychology Can Teach Us About Spreading Social Change. Cost: $5, $8 or $10 or whatever you can afford. This will help us pay our speaker and for our venue! First Come, First Serve. Thank you all for your generosity to keep our events and speakers coming!
BRING! IF you can, we will so love you all to BRING Vegan (oil free preferred please) appetizer, sweet or savory! This is NOT required but sure more fun for us all if you can bring your favorite recipe along!
Please NOTE: If you RSVP, please give us at least 48 hours notice if you cannot actually come to our event! This is courteous and you can call me ahead if you can no longer make it. Linda: 916-798-5516.
