Come with me for a quick tour of the Sacramento Natural Food Coop so I can show you the healthiest foods to buy there including, whole food plant food, canned, packaged foods. If you want to shop, please bring some carry bags and we will each do some quick shopping while there as well.
After we check out our groceries, we can go to the food service and pick out our own salad ingredients and then eat lunch there together. I will bring the oil free dressisngs we can all use from CA Balsamic. I will also buy avocados for us to place on top!
If you want to join my 30 Day Program, it is optional. I will explain how the program is helpful for reaching your goals. Space will be limited so we will keep it to 7-10 people.
Copy and print my favorite Split Pea Soup Recipe so you can shop for these ingredients while there if you wish. Or bring your own recipe.
Split Pea Soup
2 cups split peas, rinsed and drained
2 carrots
3 celery ribs
4 cloves garlic
1 red onion
6 cups veg broth (I get Plant Strong or Pacific) from Whole Foods/Coop
2 medium Potatoes, peeled and Cubed
1 Bay leaf
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
I teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
Sometimes fresh parsley chopped
Place all in Instant Pot,
Cook on high for 15 min. Release pressure
Or ccok in pot on stove if you do not have an Instant Pot
