Join Donna and Sarah for a quick tour of the Sacramento Natural Food Coop (we will meet ahead at front door) so we can show you the healthiest foods to buy there including, whole food plant food, canned, packaged foods. If you want to do a quick shop, please bring some carry bags and we will each do some quick shopping while there as well.
After we check out our groceries about 12:15 pm, we can go to the food service and pick out our own salad ingredients and then eat lunch there together. Sarah will bring the oil free dressings we can all use from CA Balsamic as well as some avocado to share.

Copy and print my favorite Split Pea Soup Recipe so you can shop for these ingredients while there if you wish. Or bring your own recipe.
Split Pea Soup
2 cups split peas, rinsed and drained
2 carrots
3 celery ribs
4 cloves garlic
1 red onion
I add in some chopped broccoli and kale to get my greens in.

6 cups veg broth (I get Plant Strong or Pacific) from Whole Foods/Coop
2 medium Potatoes, peeled and Cubed
1 Bay leaf
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
I teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
fresh parsley chopped

Place all in Instant Pot,
Cook on high for 15 min. Release pressure
Or ccok in pot on stove if you do not have an Instant Pot

FYI: Linda Middlesworth would normally be there but she tripped on her dog's leash, fell hard on cement and fractured her and fractured her femur and had partial hip replacement.
