Meyenberg Protest

Meyenberg continues to get away with criminal animal cruelty despite reports made to the Kings County District Attorney's Office and other local law enforcement, leading to no animal welfare enforcement actions. The Kings County DA has instead decided to use its resources not to protect the goats still suffering from neglect and cruelty, but to prosecute the compassionate individuals who tried to stop it.
At this action, we will continue to expose the animal cruelty happening at Meyenberg and to demand that animal cruelty be prosecuted — not the animal rescuers who expose it.

WHEN: Saturday, August 22nd at 4 pm

WHERE: Meet in front of Jamba Juice - 1127
Alhambra Blvd, Sacramento, CA

ACCESSIBILITY: Standing for 1.5-2 hours. Short walk to our protest location. It will be hot so dress for the weather and bring a hat, water, and sunblock it necessary

WHO: Everyone is welcome! If you're nervous, you can come observe or hold a sign quietly.
