Hi! Join us for our super fun weekly Salsa & Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue and Latin Motion Dance Group Classes and Social Dance Parties at the Motion Arts Center dance studio, nestled right in the heart of downtown San Mateo!
Whether you're eager to groove to the rhythm of Salsa and Bachata or sway to the enchanting beats of Cumbia and Latin Dancing, we've got you covered. Our talented instructors are ready to guide you every step of the way, regardless of your dance experience. Even if you've never danced before, don't worry! We'll make sure you feel comfortable and confident dancing with a partner in no time. We strive to create a friendly and lively atmosphere where fun and new connections fill the air.

FREE On-Street Parking After 6pm and in all city-owned parking facilities everyday after 6pm and all day Sundays and on city-designated holidays.
Kiku Parking Garage with 526 spaces is located at 400 E. 5th Avenue in San Mateo, parking is Free Mon-Sat after 6pm and all day Sunday (you can park there and walk two blocks to the studio).

San Mateo, CA 94401Beginner Level Class: In this class you will learn the fundamentals of bachata. The basic footwork, turns, body movements and how to lead/follow to feel comfortable dancing with a partner, be able to improvise and get you ready for the social dance floor!
Intermediate Level Class: This is the right class if you have been taking consistently our Pre-Intermediate Level Class for a period of at least 1 year (this will depend on your pace of learning) or by the teachers recommendation. In this class you will learn more intricate patterns, turns, arm styling, body isolations and musicality, all while building the confidence and vocabulary you need to feel even better dancing on the social floor!

New Student 7 Day - 7 Class Intro Pass: $69 (Save up to $176 total, compared to purchasing individual classes) or
Class Drop-ins:
- Single Session: $35
