Thursday Night Ride - Mueller Park Big Loop

Mueller Park – Rudy’s, North Canyon & Maple Syrup Loop
We’ll kick things off by climbing up Mueller Park Trail all the way to the top of Rudy’s Flat. From there, we’ll drop into North Canyon Trail, a fast, fun descent with some technical bits and tight turns. After connecting to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, we’ll ride back toward Mueller and climb again—this time linking into the newer Maple Syrup trail for a playful descent.

From there, we’ll finish things off with Hornet and cruise back to the lot.
This route includes sustained climbing, fast descents, and plenty of flow with sections of technical trail. It’s ideal for intermediate riders with solid bike handling skills and the fitness to handle a longer loop. We’ll ride as a group but stop to regroup at intersections and key junctions.

Meet at the meeting point at 7:30 PM. Wheels rolling shortly after.

What to Bring:

• Good attitude and solid legs
• Night riding lights (mandatory!)
• Helmet and a reliable bike
• Gloves and a light jacket
• Water and a snack for the top
• Pads optional, but a good idea for the descents

We’ll ride at a social pace, but expect a workout on the climbs and some speed on the descents. Regroup spots will give everyone a chance to catch up.

Post-ride hangout: Bring a chair and a drink if you want to chill at the lot afterward. I’ll be in a charcoal Tesla so you can find me.
