Park City Mountain Resort – Armstrong to CMG Loop
We’ll kick off from the parking area and head up Armstrong, a well-built climbing trail with smooth dirt, moderate grade, and amazing views as it winds up through shaded pine and aspen forest. Once we reach the base of Pinecone, we’ll hop on Mid Mountain Trail for a scenic traverse across the mountainside. From there, we’ll drop into CMG, a classic downhill that flows fast through open meadows and forest with some mild chunk and loose corners to keep you focused all the way back to the bottom.
This loop is ideal for intermediate riders. The climb is steady and shaded, and the descent is fast, fun, and approachable for those still progressing their downhill skills. We’ll regroup at major intersections and enjoy the best of Park City’s high alpine singletrack.
