SFCM Community Guitar Ensemble

Dear friends

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music Community Guitar Ensemble offers adults who love the guitar a welcoming environment to create a vibrant community and to make music with others who share their passion. There is no need to be a virtuoso - good tone, good memory, and enthusiastic attitude are all that’s required. I will lead the group and would love to have any interested guitarists join the group. Music for guitar orchestra is an exciting development in the guitar world and last year the SFCM Guitar Community Ensemble joined the SFCM Guitar Pre-College Guitar Orchestra on the Sérgio Assad 70th Birthday Celebration in the Conservatory Concert Hall for a fantastic celebration. The SFCM Pre-College Guitar Orchestra has been a wonderful success. My hope is to develop a Community Guitar Orchestra of equal accomplishment. Please help spread the word.
