Students of Scott Cmiel perform regularly throughout the Bay Area in schools, community centers, hospitals and retirement homes. They have won many regional, national and international awards, including the Christopher Parkening Competition, Guitar Foundation of America International Youth Competition, the James Stroud International Competition and have been featured on radio and television programs including the national public radio program From the Top and the televised GRAMMY Awards show.
