Combining Spark and Open Source Elements

Details
Open Data Science is excited for this Meetup with Intel at T-Jump in San Francisco with Intel team members Anahita Bhiwandiwalla, Jitendra Patil and Chuck Freedman.
Learning Objectives:
We will learn from data scientists and developers from Intel about the processes and open source tools––such as Spark, Hadoop, and Docker––utilized by Intel to launch their Trusted Analytics Platform (TAP). In addition to an overview of the advanced capabilities of TAP, we will learn about launching solutions based on sensor-driven and time series data sets.
Presentation Info:
Intel's open-source Trusted Analytics Platform, built using Spark, combines other open source frameworks to help teams deliver complete analytics solutions; Anahita, Jitendra, and Chuck will discuss TAP's interesting data science applications, including anomaly detection, analyzing data from earthquakes, and identifying malfunctioning devices streaming data. Lastly, they will discuss how all of the different technologies used by TAP allow the team at Intel to uncover meaningful insights from complex data sets.
