Hi! Join us and groove and move at our fun weekly Hip-Hop Classes and Heels Dance Classes, right at the vibrant Motion Arts Center dance studio, nestled in downtown San Mateo!
Come on down, let your creativity flow, and get ready to have an absolute blast while making awesome new connections along the way! Our Hip-Hop beginner level classes are the perfect starting point for your dance journey. No experience? No sweat! This class is designed with beginners in mind, introducing you to the foundations and techniques of hip-hop dance. Are you an experienced dancer already? Come join us in our Hip-Hop Intermediate level class, we'll get you grooving to those hip-hop party moves and mastering the art of top rocking, all while unleashing your inner dance superstar. So whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, we've got your back.

PARKING (studio has 8 parking spots available):
FREE On-Street Parking After 6pm and in all city-owned parking facilities everyday after 6pm and all day Sundays and on city-designated holidays.
Kiku Parking Garage with 526 spaces is located at 400 E. 5th Avenue in San Mateo, parking is Free Mon-Sat after 6pm and all day Sunday (you can park there and walk two blocks to the studio).

Unleash Your Inner Diva at our Fabulous Heels Dance Workshop! Get ready to step into a world of glamour, confidence, and sassiness! Our brand-new Heels Dance workshop is not just a dance class—it’s a celebration of empowerment, style, and the joy of dancing in high heels!
Workshop Level: This workshop is for all level students. No prior experience required; it is designed for anyone eager to explore the artistry and empowerment of dancing in high heels.
What kind of heels should I wear? We suggest heels with strong ankle support. If it is your first time in heels it is suggested to wear a shorter & thicker based heel to start and work your way to a skinner heel.
What should I wear? You want an outfit that is comfortable, flattering, and easy to move in; pants, cute little shorts, or leggings are great. If your knees are exposed, consider wearing knee pads so that you can slide around on the floor comfortably. Just make sure that your outfit allows you to move freely and doesn’t restrict your movement in any way.
