North Fortuna Mountain from Via Valarta

6 miles 1000ft ascent.

From Via Valarta to North Fortuna Mountain and looping back. The trails are quite steep in places, but the view from the summit is worth the climb. This hike is on MONDAY due to rain later in the week.

FROM SAN DIEGO: From I-805 take CA-52 East and exit on Santo Rd. Turn right then left at the light onto Portobelo Dr. Continue to Camino Playa Cancun on the left. Park on this street.

Wear good hiking shoes and a hat, take water, sun protection and a snack for the summit.
