Dialogue on Democracy
Details
Dialogue on Democracy is a space designed to help individuals better understand and navigate today’s political and democratic landscape through guided dialogue and community learning experiences.
Dialogue on Democracy offers three opportunities to join the conversation, each exploring democracy, politics, and civic life from a different angle.
Join us for one session or all three. Each experience stands on its own, so there’s no need to attend a previous session to participate.
This isn’t a lecture or political debate. It’s a conversation.
Come ready to participate, ask questions, listen to different perspectives, and learn alongside others.
💬 1. Community Dialogue - Oct. 13th 7pm CT
We’ll start with conversation. Share your experiences, concerns, and questions about democracy and the political issues shaping our lives. Together, we’ll identify the questions we want to explore further.
🔎 2. Research Dialogue - Oct 20th 7pm CT
We’ll do some digging. Participants will explore questions that emerge from our first conversation, then come back together to share what we found, compare sources, challenge assumptions, and build a clearer understanding together.
🎓 3. Expert Insight - Oct 27th 7pm CT
We’ll bring our questions to an expert. Our guest will share their knowledge and perspective, followed by an open Q&A where we can dig deeper into what we’ve learned.
No expertise or political background is required. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to engage respectfully. The goal is to leave feeling better equipped to think critically, communicate clearly, and participate confidently in civic life.
