Encinitas Ranch Trail Loop

Join us in Encinitas for a casual walk through Ranch Trail Loop, about an hour, 2.1 miles, on a mostly flat trail with beautiful greenery and wonderful views, 173 elevation gain.

Then, trek over to Fox Point Farms. 10 minute walk.

Fox Point Farms is a real farm that offers tours around the fields, farm animal barns, coffee roasting and brewery houses. Enjoy delicious breakfast and lunch treats (yum) coffee drinks and an assortment of other beverages at their own farm store.

Enjoy your treats under the sunshine (usually) or shade and discuss how much fun it is being part of this meetup group. Share stories and other activity ideas we all may like our leaders to consider.

No restrooms along the trail. Plenty of restrooms at the farm.

Take water, good hiking shoes, at least a long sleeve something, hats, sunscreen.

Getting there: Use address 1461 Paseo de las Flores Encinitas as a (reference address). This is right next to where the trail begins. Do not park at this address. See more details below.

Parking: There is plenty of parking on either side of Paseo de las Flores. You can park as soon as you turn into Paseo de las Flores then continue by foot towards the address mentiined above. Or, continue driving on Paseo de las Flores until you see a yellow caution ⚠️ sign above a yellow curb, both in the middle of the road.

Do not park beyond these markers.

You can try your parking luck before 9am at the farm, 1200 Fox Point Farms Lane then walk (10 minutes) to the location above.

If we start without you:
The trailhead is towards the left of the yellow markers mentioned above. Look for the long white femce. Take all turns to the right as you try to catch up. There will be one street to cross instead of walking to the right. We will have a casual pace. Call Victor if you need help. Number will be posted on day of event.
