About us
This group is for anyone in their 40-50 age range looking to get out to socialize and make new friends. We'll do a good mix of adventure meetups like camping or hiking to more low-key meetups such as monthly book clubs or trying new restaurants.
Want to get involved and help organize? Or do you have recommendations on the types of events you'd like to see? Just drop me a direct message. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Seattle St. Patrick’s Day 5K Dash
Seattle Center, 300 5th Ave N, Seattle, wa, USLet’s get together for the Seattle St. Patrick’s Day 5K Dash. There’s no need to be a fast runner — or even run the entire race. I’ll be doing a walk-run myself. It’s a great chance to get outside, get some steps in, and celebrate. If you’d rather just come cheer, you’re absolutely welcome too.
There are three start waves:
• 9:00 AM – Runner wave
• 9:10 AM – Jogging wave (I’m signed up for this one)
• 9:20 AM – Walker waveAfter the race, we’ll plan to partake in the post-race festivities at the Fisher Pavilion. There will be food, drinks, entertainment, and announcements of the race winners.
Race sign-up:
https://stpatsdash.com/Meeting spot: In front of the Seattle Center fountain
Time: 8:30 AM — we’ll meet at the fountain around 8:30.
We don’t need to run together since everyone will move at different speeds, but feel free to pair up.Post-race: We can meet outside the Fisher Pavilion after the race.
What to wear: Please wear something green and festive — your race shirt counts!
The event can get crowded, so I created a WhatsApp group so we can stay in contact:

I live near 3rd Ave W & W Harrison St, and there’s usually plenty of parking around here if anyone wants to park nearby and walk over to the race together.
