The FUNK of FORTY THOUSAND YEARS! Welcome to this site for information about Seattle Thrillers, Thrill The World, and Thrill The World Seattle.
Thrill The World, https://thrilltheworld.com/ is the annual worldwide simultaneous dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller." This event is a global community project that inspires others to break down barriers by connecting people of all religions, races, gender identities, and economic backgrounds through dance. December, 2025 marked the 41st anniversary of M.J.'s Thriller video. The original Thriller choreography was created by Michael Peters. Dancers who participate in Thrill The World perform a modified version.
Each year in October, Seattle Thrillers 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, https://seattlethrillers.org produces the annual Thrill The World Seattle event, joining groups in other nations to perform at the same time. The local group also supports local charities.
This year marks the 20th annual Thrill The World event! It will take place on Saturday, October 24. The Seattle Thrillers Nonprofit is partnering with Woodin Creek Village in Woodinville, WA for Thrill The World Seattle/Woodinville 2026. Details are posted on this Meetup site.
Online donations via https://seattlethrillers.org are secure and greatly appreciated! Contributions help offset the cost of Thrill The World events and support local charitable organizations. This year donations will go to the Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank.
In addition to participating in Thrill The World, the local group performs for various organizations in and around the Seattle area throughout the year. If you would like to learn the dance in a class setting and perform with the Seattle Thrillers, check the calendar on this site for rehearsals, the local TTW event, and performances for other organizations.

In Loving Memory: Aimee Benoit was one of the Assistant Organizers for the Seattle Thrillers. She was also on the Thrill The World Global Team as Webmaster, Data and Reporting Specialist, and Video Editor. She was very dedicated in donating much of her time in preparations for this annual event.
