The FUNK of FORTY THOUSAND YEARS! Thrill The World is the annual worldwide simultaneous dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller." December, 2025 marked the 41st anniversary of his Thriller video. The original Thriller choreography was created by Michael Peters, but members of the Seattle Thrillers, along with all dancers in Thrill The World, perform a modified version.
This event is a global community project that inspires others to break down barriers by connecting people of all religions, races, gender identities, and economic backgrounds through dance. Seattle Thrillers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, https://seattlethrillers.org. Online donations are accepted on that website, are secure, and are greatly appreciated! Contributions will help to offset the cost of events. The Seattle Thrillers nonprofit organization also supports local charities.
Each year in October the Seattle Thrillers Nonprofit presents Thrill The World Seattle, joining Thriller groups in other nations to perform at the same time.
The local group also performs for various organizations in and around Seattle throughout the year. If you would like to learn the dance in a class setting, stay tuned for future rehearsal dates and times. It is free to learn the dance and there is no charge to the public on the day of the event.

In Loving Memory: Aimee Benoit was one of the Assistant Organizers for the Seattle Thrillers. She was also on the Thrill The World Global Team as Webmaster, Data and Reporting Specialist, and Video Editor. She was very dedicated in donating much of her time in preparations for this annual event.
