We're at it again!! Come join us on our 10th (yes, 10!! it's kind of like an anniversary of sorts... extra reason to join in!!) outing to do a little cleanup along Downing street. We are doing this as part of the City of Denver's Adopt-a-Street program - and our efforts have not gone unnoticed. The city recognized the Hub this summer for our continued commitment to the cause.
We will start gathering around 11:45am and then head out to pick up the litter that has accumulated over the last few weeks. It's only been a few weeks since the previous cleanup (now that we're on a monthly schedule) - so hopefully, with enough people, we can do this in an hour or so.
Everyone is welcome, and encouraged to participate (kids included... just may need adult 'supervision', depending on age) – the more, the merrier!
Please be prepared for the type of work we'll be doing. Bring a good pair of gloves if you have them (ones you don't mind getting a bit dirty) - the city has provided thin latex gloves, but they provide minimal protection. And, it is probably best to not wear open-toed shoes.
Also check the weather forecast, and dress/prepare appropriately (e.g. hats, jackets, sunscreen, etc) - the latest (extended) forecast calls for a warm day, highs around 90.
Finally, if you have a Hub bright yellow t-shirt - please wear that as well. Thanks!
Hope to have many, many of you join us... this is a good thing that we do!

Note: September's cleanup, and the cleanups for the rest of this year, will be held on the second Sunday of the month, instead of the 1st Sunday.
