Secular Hub Candidate Forum

Meet the candidates running for a seat on the Secular Hub Board of Directors!

This is your opportunity to ask candidates questions and learn more about them before the election.

The event is primarily directed to voting members but others are also welcome. It will take place after the Pancake breakfast.
A Zoom option will be provided - details coming soon.

Here's the format:

• The Nominations and Elections Committee will kick off the forum with a brief history of the Secular Hub and a reminder of the election process
• Each candidate will provide short introductions (5 minutes or less)
• The candidates will have an option to speak an extra 3 minutes on a topic of their choosing
• Then each candidate will be seated at a table where you can meet them and ask questions
• Each candidate has also been asked to complete a questionnaire. Printouts will be provided at each table and posted online afterward

**Remember, April 24 is the last day for nominations. If your information is not received by that date you will not be a candidate this year. We have to keep our deadlines. So, if you'd like to get in the running, contact the Nominations and Elections Committee at: nominate@secularhub.org**

Election Schedule: Polls will open May 7 and close May 17 at 1:00PM. The Annual Meeting is on May 18.

To be eligible to vote, you must be 18 years old and a Hub Member for 180 days before the closing of the polls. Family memberships are eligible for 2 ballots only.
