Every month, except August and December, we pick a nonfiction book to read and discuss. We meet face-to-face on the second Sunday of the month at 1pm to share and learn from each other.

Share a book you are reading or have read dealing with inequalities in the most general sense and share with other members

We decided to do something very different for our July meeting before we have our summer break in August to then return in September.

It was decided that everyone should select a book of their choice on the topic of inequalities broadly speaking and give a brief overview to the group for discussion.

After our discussions we shall select books for the remainder of the year including September, October and November.

I chose a book on economic inequalities called "The Haves and Have Yachts" by Evan Osnos.

Please come and share if it is only to listen to others--no mandatory presentation required!!
