We will discuss steps to think about as retirement gets closer, why asset allocation could change, when you should consider asset allocation changes and the time horizon in retirement.Craig Braemer has been investing for about 40 years and joined San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of BetterInvesting in 1992. His current Chapter position is President. Craig has developed and taught classes for his local chapter and started his first club in 1987. He is semi-retired and works in the financial services industry. He has several designations including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Financial Planning designation (CFP®). His primary interest outside of investing includes going to SF Giants baseball games, Disneyland, traveling and playing soccer.
Jim Willcox is a retired attorney and long-time investor. He has been a member of BetterInvesting and Model Club member since 2011, serving in various Model Club Officer positions and is currently Treasurer. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chapter of BetterInvesting for 8 years.
