🔆 The ultimate storytelling competition, The Moth GrandSLAM invites winners from our open-mic StorySLAMs back to the stage for the Bay Area storytelling championship.

Moth stories are true, as remembered by the storyteller, and told live, without notes, to standing-room-only audiences.

The Moth shows are renowned for the great range of human experience they showcase. Since each storyteller's voice is authentic, the shows dance between documentary and theater, creating a unique, intimate, and often enlightening experience for the audience.

The Moth is a nonprofit dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. Since launching in 1997, The Moth has presented over 50,000 true personal stories around the globe. Additionally, The Moth runs storytelling workshops for high school students, teachers, adults and advocates through its Education, Community and Global Programs, and MothWorks.
