🔆 Arwen Lawrence and Jorge Liceaga are the original dreamers of the music ensemble Cascada de Flores. Founded in San Francisco in 1999, they began by journeying into the hidden corners of Mexico, seeking the real stories of that hugely diverse country. In this adventure they discovered that Mexico, with its love affair with foreign culture, has adopted as its own the rancheras, boleros, sones and guarachas from various regions of Latin America. I invite you to enjoy this intimate concert of guitar and voice as Cascada de Flores digs into the Latin American songbook to present an evening of original songs -- and oldies, too.
