🔆 Macy Blackman and the Mighty Fines are the Bay Area's premier New Orleans R&B/boogie band — hard-driving Crescent City soul in the tradition of Fats Domino and Professor Longhair, anchored by pianist/vocalist Macy Blackman, saxophonist Ken "Snakebite" Jacobs (Neville Brothers, The Band), bassist Bing Nathan (Lavay Smith's Red Hot Skillet Lickers), and drummer Larry Vann (Martha Reeves, Elvin Bishop.) Together since 2003, they bring boogie-woogie piano, wailing horns, a rockin' rhythm section, and a groove that'll keep your toes a-tapping.
