🔆 Come watch (and feel) the power of community music at the Ukes4Peace Jam.
You don't need a ukulele to be part of this — just show up and soak it in. On September 19, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion is hosting a Ukes4Peace Jam in the Community Room at Sports Basement Presidio, across from Crissy Field.
Ukes4Peace brings together ukulele clubs from across the Bay Area around a simple, hopeful idea: that music played together can promote peace and harmony — and maybe even make the world a little better. Members from affiliated clubs will gather to strum and sing songs of protest, hope, peace, and encouragement.
Every Ukes4Peace event this year has drawn a great crowd, and this one's shaping up to be no different. Bring a friend, grab a spot, and let the music (and the good vibes) carry you away. Crissy Field is stunning this time of year, so make a morning of it — uke jam, bay views, and all.
No instrument required. Just bring your ears and heart. 🎶
