What we’re about
***Apologies for the long waitlists while we get more events on the calendar***
Come discuss deep topics with smart, interesting people.
Past discussions have covered questions like:
- Is loneliness one of the biggest problems facing society?
- Advances in AI indicate that most jobs will become automated in the future. What will humans do in that world, and how would they define their sense of accomplishment?
- Religion has been surprisingly enduring despite the advances of science. Why?
Upcoming events (2)
See all- Group Discussion (Host: Ann)San Francisco Public Library - Main Branch, San Francisco, CA
Come discuss deep topics in the company of warm, insightful people. Many of us are regulars, but newcomers are wanted and welcome.
We'll meet on the 1st floor of the SF Public Library - Main Branch. (When facing the information desk, go left toward the books. Ours is a glass conference room called the Mary Louise Stong Room.)
We'll vote on which 2 topics we would like to talk about, then have a moderated discussion ensuring everyone has the option to participate.
