New Year Intellectual Mixer (Host: Humberto)

As 2026 begins to truly kick off, join us in mutual enrichment of perspectives through an Intellectual Mixer, a structured but not stuffy format that makes it easy to have thoughtful conversations with interesting people. Regulars and newcomers alike are welcome.

We’ll move through rotating small groups (with curated prompts) and regroup for a full-group huddle. Expect a mix of our most crowd-pleasing discussion topics plus a few surprising twists.

In the past, we have discussed topics such as:

• If most jobs become automated, what will humans do — and how will they define accomplishment?
• How should we evaluate cultural traditions in the context of modern values?
• Is it better to live a well-rounded life or to maximize one pursuit to a level of excellence?
• To what extent do we owe loyalty and effort to friends, neighbors, and humanity at large?

Location Note: We are finalizing the venue for this meetup, but it will be located in the vicinity of *Mission Bay/Mission Rock*.
