We are a movie loving group hosting in-person movie watching and discussion events in SF. Come join our Discord community! https://discord.gg/UekUHFp6qq Typical events involve watching a movie at a theater followed by discussion at a nearby bar, cafe, or restaurant.
Our goal is to foster a community of movie lovers that regularly meets to watch and discuss movies of all kinds. We hope that some of the active members will eventually step up and host events so that more people can participate.

WUTHERING HEIGHTS
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema New Mission, 2550 Mission St, San Francisco, CA, USJoin us for Emerald Fennell's latest film, WUTHERING HEIGHTS, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi on Saturday, February 14 (AKA Valentine's Day) at Alamo Drafthouse, the 6:30pm show. We will meet in the lobby at 6:00pm for quick intros and again after the show to gather before walking to a nearby bar/restaurant for discussion.
Alamo has reserved seating so please purchase your ticket in advance. I am in row 8, seat 11 if you would like to sit with/near me.
Feel free to see the movie on your own and meet us in the lobby just for the discussion afterwards. If you choose this option you must still RSVP. The movie is 2 hours and 16 minutes long so we should get out around 9pm.
Location for the after movie discussion is TBD, but will likely be El Rey Taquiza Artesanal on Mission St. Please plan to purchase a drink or food item for use of their space. FYI some places in the Mission are cash only or have a minimum order amount for cards.

GODZILLA (1954)
1746 Post St, San Francisco, CA 94115, San Francisco, Ca, USJoin us for the kaiju epic that started it all, Ishirō Honda's GODZILLA on Sunday, February 15, 3pm at the brand new New People cinema in Japantown. This is a rare chance to see a classic on the big screen!
New People Cinema is reopening for a weekend as a 143-seat underground cinema in historic San Francisco Japantown. This unique cinema is in the basement of NEW PEOPLE at 1746 Post St in San Francisco. Ticketing is via Roxie. Please buy your ticket here!
We will meet outside (or inside depending on the weather) at 2:30pm for quick intros and again after the show to gather before walking to a nearby bar/restaurant for discussion. Location for the after movie discussion is TBD but we will be near the Japan Center so we have plenty of options for food & drink.

OSCARS TRIVIA NIGHT
Flying Pig Bistro Pub, 433 S Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA, USJoin us for our 3rd Annual OSCARS TRIVIA NIGHT at the Flying Pig Bistro on Saturday, March 14 at 7 PM. Trivia will start at 7:30 PM and feature an Oscars movies theme (about 50% based on 2025 movies, and 50% based on other years). Everyone gets a free San Francisco Movie Club Sticker (designed by Kees) and the winning trivia team gets a special prize!
