Nature Journaling at Heron’s Head Park

Details
Would you like to slow down, notice more, and invite a sense of awe, calm, and wonder into your day?
Join us for a nature journaling adventure on third Sunday of every month! Each month, we explore a different natural gem within San Francisco, pausing to capture our observations, curiosity, and moments of joy in our journals — using words, pictures, and numbers.
Heron’s Head Park is a beautiful location next to the Recology Facility and is lush with native plants, lots of birds, and a nice little nature center. They have toilet access and some parking spots, but you know by now that we always encourage carpooling.
DEFINITELY bring a wind breaker and layers to keep you warm. Not a lot of wind protection at this location.
