Diane Olivier says:
Based on Urban Sketchers, I’ve created a MeetUp group for soft pastel folks who want to work outdoors together. No cost, no teaching - just enjoy each other’s company!
June takes us to ALAMO PARK, a hilltop park with stunning views on all sides overlooking San Francisco and across the street from the famous Painted Ladies. Great combination of nature and city scapes. There are benches, shade, tables throughout as well as restrooms. The Mill coffee shop is nearby open til 5pm. Parking can be tough, bus stops right near park.
I'll meet you on the path facing the Painted Ladies at 1pm. From there wander the park for the view you want and at 3:30 we all meet for a throw down along the black fence between tennis court and restroom.
Alway bundle in layers, we never know how that wind will treat us!!
Bring your pastels, paper, a board, tape, something to sit on, and baby wipes as well as your water and sunscreen. (suggestion in blue links)
SF Pastel People is a new group, led by Diane Olivier. See more about the group here.
