- Friday, 6PM-8PM: Martin Luther King Pool, San Francisco (kids game)
- Saturday, 7:30AM-9:00AM: Soquel High School, Santa Cruz
- Sunday, 10:30AM-12:30PM, Los Gatos HS Community Aquatic Center
New players welcome! No experience necessary, so don't hesitate to try it out, and bring your friends too. Your first game is free.
To enjoy this experience fully, you must have intermediate-level swimming experience. This means you can swim at least 2 laps non-stop and hold your breath and swim underwater. If you have just started to swim, it will be difficult to learn.
** For Los Gatos practice only: please email our coach, David, for our next beginner intro session.
His email is: david.quiec@gmail.com
This limited-contact sport typically involves 2 teams of 6, competing to move weighted puck across the bottom of a pool into the opposing team's goal.
Wearing snorkeling gear, players submerge briefly to move the puck or support their team.
Underwater hockey promotes safe play focusing on coordination, puck handling, teamwork, and fitness.
The US has over 50 clubs that play and compete regularly.
Just bring a suit and towel to the pool! If you have your own snorkeling gear and swim fins, that's a plus, however, we will provide everything if needed.
