The cutter Cetacea (Latin, marine mammal-dolphins/whales), a beautiful, strong, and well-appointed 42' blue-water sailboat with extensive operational and safety systems, invites a few crew aboard with a highly experienced skipper and platonic-only water sports enthusiast and science/technology entrepreneur.

Strong preference for adventurous crew, as can be seen in the various NBS photo albums of crew on more than 150 no-cost personal sailing adventures the past 10 years. This sail is for women that prefer to sail with other women; sorry guys but there is a big demand for female-only sailing that isn't being met! Sailing experience isn't necessary, but enthusiasm for a fun, safe and exhilarating daysail, is!

The weather predictions for Saturday indicate sunny at 68-70F and moderate 15 kt winds this far out, so we'll sail to the Coast and the Golden Gate Straits, around Angel Island and then back to the marina. We'll lunch underway with a 20 minute cleanup upon return. We'll have a goodbye cake for Olive Oyl, as she is moving away from SF :-( We'll also celebrate Cetacea's new topside paint!

The waitlist is open until I identify the crew by this Wednesday night, Oct 29. I'll send an agenda with food, drink, clothing, meeting location, marina parking and more to the crew on Friday. We'll enjoy a mix of friends, former crew and newbie crew!

Please be sure to respond asap to my email to your meetup registered email address or you'll be cast adrift in the "Not Going" landlubber zone of washed-up sailing regrets, har har :-)
