Sail To Golden Gate June 7th 2026

Announcing a sail opportunity on Sail La Vie, 1999 Catalina 36 MKII, for Sunday June 7th,2026. Due to ebb tides ( outgoing tides ) it is a perfect opportunity to sail north towards San Francisco and towards Golden Gate Bridge and return on Flood Tide ( incoming Tide ) in the afternoon.
We have to get started by 8:30AM and head for the Golden Gate Bride and start to return by 12:30 PM. We should be back at the Marina by 5 or 6 PM.
Coyote Point Marina is located just north of HWY 92 ( San Mateo Bridge ) and HWY 101 in San Mateo.

I prefer you to have been on sailboat before or have had formal sailing training for everyone’s’ safety. Please leave alcohol at home. No one other than you can come, that is you can not bring a guest or pet with you. I can take 4 persons.
Since weather reports are only a prediction, I may have to cancel due to bad weather and I will do so 48 hours in advance. If you change your mind – please cancel 48 hours in advance so that those on waiting list can participate.
Bring food and drink for yourself and some to share. Bring Camera, cell phone, hat, sun glasses; warm layered clothing to feel warm and comfortable.
