Practice Memorizing Numbers with Historic Dates! (San Francisco)

Details
Learn memory techniques in San Francisco -- it's free! No experience is necessary.
The goal of this meetup will be to help people learn a number memorization system and practice it by memorizing interesting historical dates.
The number memorization system that you'll learn can be used for anything from short numbers, like telephone numbers and history dates, up to tens of thousands of digits of pi! These are the same memorization systems that are used by memory champions to do things like memorize hundreds of random digits in just a few minutes.
No experience necessary. If you've never used a number memorization system, we'll help you get started. If you've already started your mnemonic system, we'll help you finish it. We are able to help you with beginner and advanced number systems.
Important: Please bring a laptop with a charged battery if you have one, because we may use both paper and software to do memorization practice. If you don't have a laptop, you will be able to practice using paper. We will provide all of the other necessary materials.
Transportation and Arrival:
The location is between 4th and 5th in SOMA. Suite #100 is on the ground floor. There is metered street parking. If you're taking public transportation, you can go to the Powell Street station at Market street, Muni bus lines 30 or 45 will drop you at 5th and Brannan. (Google Maps may be useful.)
