Cotogna: Table for 4 ($50 deposit)
Details
Cotogna is an Italian restaurant known for its house-made pastas, spit-roasted and grilled meats, and seafood roasted in the restaurant’s wood-burning oven. The word “cotogna” is Italian for “quince.” The restaurant is a more casual and convivial counterpart to Chef Michael and Lindsay Tusk’s decorated fine dining restaurant next door (Quince).
The menu changes daily according to what’s growing at local farms, including Fresh Run in Bolinas. The menu highlights Chef Tusk's flawless pastas, like agnolotti del plin, stuffed with tender rabbit, veal, and pork, or the rigatoni with guanciale, chanterelle mushrooms, and pistachio. Seasonal appetizers like kale and radicchio salad in a tangy vinaigrette are equally delicious, as is the antipasti platter. The plum and ginger torta is moist and delicious, but those sweet, ripe plums steal the show. Sample menus can be found at www.cotognasf.com.
Eater calls Cotogna one of the best Italian restaurants in the city.
We have an outdoor table for four reserved. The outdoor parklet is cozy with heaters and blankets.
Costs
Expect to spend $50-$100 on food, depending on how many courses you order. Drinks and wine will add to the total.

Each diner is responsible for their own orders and costs, but we will have to consolidate and divvy up the final bill accordingly. Please be prepared to split the check and pay via cash, Venmo, Zelle, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
