Bill's Place: No Reservations

Bill's Place
Bill, the original founder of Bill's Place, set out to feed San Franciscans the absolute best hamburger in the city, maybe the world. Founded in 1959, Bill ran this outer Richmond destination until he passed away in 1980. Perhaps he succeeded. Reached his goal.. created the best hamburger in the world. I'd like to think he did.
Sadly he passed away before the San Francisco 49ers won a Super Bowl and before the San Francisco Giants won a World Series.
Bill's Place has been a stalwart of consistency, their burgers and sandwiches are remarkable, along with their other accompanying sides and drinks. They have salad's for those wanting a less curvy figure, and Dreyer's (Edy's) Ice Cream.
In 2006 I set out to find the best Banana Milk Shake in San Francisco, and the best hambuger, and the best fries. Bill's is undoubtably the best Banana Milk Shake. Fresh Bananas, Edy's Ice Cream and milk.

The Jarrar family, the current owners, still pride themselves on the fact that they cut, grind and form the beef patties seven days a week, and they continue to use fresh potatoes to make their fries.

Administrative Trivia
Bill's Place menu shows dinner pricing (burger and shake) is about $25-$30 per person, excluding tax and tip. Alcoholic drinks can easily increase this average. Dress is smart casual.
Each diner is responsible for their own orders and costs but we will have to consolidate and divvy up the final bill accordingly. Please bring cash or have Zelle or Apple Cash available.
Taxes and Fees
Dining in San Francisco has a sales tax (8.625%) and probably an employee health mandate (3-10%), a tip (20%) may be automatically added, even on individual bills. If we cannot have separate checks I calculate each diner's orders separately unless the meal is shared or family style, and round up.
