GiGi's Wine Bar: Table for 6

Details
GIGI's
Tu David Phu, a former “Top Chef” contestant and cookbook author (with former San Francisco Chronicle Food Critic Soliel Ho) opened Gigi's, a wine bar on San Francisco's Divisadero's corridor, six months ago (November 2024). Chef Tu learned in the Michelin starred kitchens of NYC's Daniel and San Francisco's beloved Acquerello.
They have a short rotating menu featuring a waygu hot dog that reminded Chef Tu of his childhood memories of eating Costco Hot Dog's in Oakland where he was raised, (as seen in the event photo).
Menu and amazing reviews below, along with a link to buy his cookbook.

I haven't been to Gigi's, but Bravo's Top Chef is one of my guilty television pleasures these places between places hopefully last forever, but if they follow the usual ex-top chef model they'll move on (up) in a couple years, but they'll leave a trail of memories and hopefully a place we can reminisce.
No Man's Land*, the Divis Corridor* is a hot spot for new restaurants and innovative chef's in San Francisco, and Gigi's is a little off this well driven path at Paige and Divisadero, but looks like embodies the fell and love.
It's a work night, so I'll probably skip drinking. Looking forward to my first wine bar event.

Administrative Trivia
Gigi's Wine Bar menu shows three courses dinner pricing average is about $60 per person, excluding tax and tip. Alcoholic drinks can easily increase this average. Dress is smart casual.
If the restaurant cannot provide separate checks each diner is responsible for their own orders and costs and we will have to consolidate and divvy up the final bill accordingly. Please bring Cash or have Zelle or Apple Cash available, cash is preferred.
Taxes and Fees
Dining in San Francisco has a sales tax (8.625%) and probably an employee health mandate (between 3-10%), a tip (20%) may be automatically added, even on individual bills. I calculate each diner's orders separately unless they allow separate orders, separate checks, the meal is shared or family style, and round up. Usually expect a 35% increase from the menu prices.
