Sushi Uma opened in the 2000s and relocated in 2022, (so use their new address), but only a block away from their original location.

Sushi Uma has dedicated these past decades to serving authentic Japanese Cuisine, during dinner hours they have a large selection of Japanese dishes centered around fresh seafood and fresh ingredients. As a business they strive to instill a local appreciation for Japanese Culture and cultural understanding.

Sushi Uma is a very good neighborhood sushi place, but during lunch they have one of the better all you can eat deals. $26.99 for all you can eat during the week and $29.99 on the weekend (which is when San Francisco Foodies is going. If you want nigiri sushi included there is a small up charge.

This isn't meant as an invitation to gorge ourselves, but an opportunity to try items you may have not tasted before.

We'll go in together at 1p so our party can have the full allowed time to enjoy our meal. These are individual orders and not family style.

There is a waste charge, if you have a lot of uneaten items on your plate then you will be charged extra, this is an individual change and not split among the group.

Taxes and Restaurant Fees
Dining in San Francisco has a sales tax (8.625%) and probably an employee health mandate (3-10%), a tip (20%) may be automatically added, even on individual bills, if not we expect a 20% minimum tip to be paid for individual bills. We will try to get separate checks, but remember to bring cash.

Each diner is responsible for their own orders and costs but we will have to consolidate and divvy up the final bill accordingly.
