Brunch at Brenda's, Part Deux (Pre-Mardi Gras Feast)

Cindy and I can't help ourselves, we're cohosting BRUNCH @ Brenda's for a pre-Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) feast.

I just returned from a visit time visit to New Orleans and absolutely loved it! The energy of the city, delicious food, and hospitality can't be beat. It's Mardi Gras season-the symbolic colors of Purple=Justice, Green=Faith, & Gold=Power are proudly displayed everywhere you go!
Now I'm back in the bay, craving NOLA...

Brenda's French Soul Food
Chef, Owner Brenda Buenviajé hails from New Orleans. In 2007, at 652 Polk St in San Francisco, Brenda's French Soul Food Restaurant was born, culminating her Filipina-Creole heritage, executive chef experience, and her love for cooking. Including this location, Buenviajé currently co-owns and operates three "Brenda's"; Meat & Three and Oakland.

On previous visits during this time of year, I enjoyed interpretations of classic NOLA "specials" that included king cake beignet and Pasta Orleans. I am hoping these delights will be available for our brunch. Check out there regular menu

Meal, Beverage, Mandate, Taxes and Fees=Total Individual Cost
Each diner is responsible for the total cost of their own orders (+any additional items)-take raw bill x1.35 (tax, tip, mandate if applicable) and round up for your total payment. If appetizers and/or side dish are shared (family style) cost will be divvied up for attendees. Organizer will manage one singular bill and form of payment for the check. Please be prepared to pay the organizer by Cash, Venmo, AppleCash or Zelle.

Located at 652 Polk Street, cross street Eddy in the Tenderloin. Street parking throughout the neighborhood.
Bus:
Muni 31 on Eddy or 5 minute walk from Van Ness, Muni 49 and Golden Gate Transit stops.
