Crab, Seafood & Garlic Noodle Dinner @ Thanh Long Vietnamese Restaurant
Details
Pescatarians and Carbo-holics unite, it's time for SF Foodies to return to Thanh Long, San Francisco's iconic crab and garlic noodle destination.
Courtesy of their website: "Thanh Long is the original home of AN’s Famous Garlic Noodles® and a beloved destination for Vietnamese cuisine in San Francisco. Established in 1971, this family-run restaurant on Judah Street became the city’s very first Vietnamese restaurant—introducing generations of locals and travelers to bold, unforgettable flavors. Thanh Long is also the birthplace of House of AN, the now-celebrated culinary empire built by the An Family, whose legacy began in this humble, oceanside neighborhood.
Founded by family matriarch Diana An and later elevated by the visionary Chef Helene An, Thanh Long is where signature dishes like Garlic Noodles with Tiger Prawns, and Whole-Roasted Dungeness Crab™ first came to life. It’s also the original home of the famed Secret Kitchen™.
Still located in the Outer Sunset after over 50 years, Thanh Long continues to delight with its warm hospitality, cult-following, and deep-rooted culinary history.
For those seeking the best garlic noodles in San Francisco or an iconic roasted crab experience in a casual neighborhood setting, Thanh Long remains a must-visit destination. A true hidden gem, steeped in story and soul, where every dish reflects the heart of Vietnamese-American cuisine."
