Heirloom Tomato Menu at Bosco: Dinner for 6
Details
Tomato lovers, this event is for you.
Bosco is a wood-fired Italian restaurant from The Absinthe Group (the creators of Hayes Valley favorites like Absinthe Brasserie & Bar). Located at 888 Brannan Street in San Francisco’s SoMa district—in the historic building formerly occupied by Bellota—the restaurant takes its name from the Italian word for "woods" or "forest."
Led by co-executive chefs Ryan McIlwraith and Kaili Hill, Bosco pairs traditional Northern Italian technique with Northern California's hyper-seasonal produce. Rather than strictly adhering to traditional regional recipes, the kitchen focuses on modern, distinctly San Francisco expressions of Italian cooking.
For the summer, Bosco is offering a fixed-price tomato menu for $55. We will get
• Tomato & stone fruit gazpacho
• Yellowfin tuna carpacchio toast
• Heirloom tomato caprese
• Tomato & goat cheese scarpinocc
• Bone-in pork shoulder chop milanese
• Green tomato & eggplant parmigiana
• Heirloom tomato sorbet
Although you may purchase additional items, full table participation for the tomato menu is required.
