Kranky Geek WebRTC Show 2017

Details
The Kranky Geek WebRTC event returns to San Francisco for it’s 4th year running on Friday, October 27th with registration starting at 9:00 a.m. and sessions at 10:00 a.m. at Google’s 345 Spear Street location (7th floor). Please register at krankygeek.eventbrite.com (https://krankygeek.eventbrite.com/) to secure your tickets now! RSVPs on this Meetup site will not reserve a spot for you.
This year’s Kranky Geek event will have a focus on AR/VR and natural language processing (NLP), demonstrating how WebRTC works in unison with these technologies.
The Kranky Geek Event is for developers looking to learn more about how to apply this technology to their own applications. As always, a great group of tech and application speakers are lined up from Google, Facebook, Slack, as well as core WebRTC advocates Tokbox, Twilio, and Vidyo.
WebRTC is a core component for web and mobile based communications of audio and video. Many of the leading comms and collaboration applications use WebRTC to power them. The inclusion this year of WebRTC into WebKit (used by Safari on both desktop and mobile) ensures compatibility across many platforms.
Tickets are $10 plus Eventbrite fees (and $15 at the door). 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Girl Develop It (https://www.girldevelopit.com/)—a nonprofit organization that exists to provide affordable and judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development.
