NOTE: ****To those who have never experienced an Indie Tom's unique Event & Adventure Outing. We are very social. You will make friends. You will get a good to great full body workout. All events & adventures are photo oriented. Most are not real hard. Mileages vary from 3 to 8 miles. There is always some uphill. I plan & conduct over 55 different outings a year.**** No boring look at the ground forced marches. *** Yes ! You will have a super fun experience. Yes ! you do get a real lot for a little $. And also most are full day events . Included are personal Vino varietals ,lots of snacks & food, car pooling ,gourmet fruit & nut packs, etc.

OK. Check this one out. I haven't done this one in several years. We meet at the Library by the Fairgrounds in PETALUMA. We will carpool from there. I will also have maps for all. My phone # 925 787 3041 (call or text only) I may miss questions thru the bad meetup app. system.
OK. Bring a jacket, hiking shoes, beach sandals(optional), and a lunch.
ITINERARY: 1. First stop: Historic Morse code , Maritime Radio Station at the Tunnel of Cypress trees. (*** One of the top historic places in California that hardly anyone knows about.)
2. Drive to a special remote area & hike to beach & indulge in an amazing trail lush with so many beautiful Wildflowers. Then locate & explore the hidden caves, gorge, mussel colony(Great place for photos) & cool tunnel skylight to ocean. NOTE: Several years ago , we observed a seal observing us as he came ashore with a camera or monitor on his head. It was hilarious & startling !
******We always have our after event dinner option somewhere on the back. As we say: "It will be just another crappy day in "PARADISE"
P.S. REMEMBER: Never even think of being a dreaded NO SHOW!!!
P.S. #2 : Watch for the 1 long day coming soon for the Magical Mystery FOREST ramble near Ukiah. Sunk in an old volcano floor with hot springs & it has 5 of the 12 world's tallest trees & also the world's second tallest tree. I know where it resides.

THEY ARE LONG ALL DAY SUPER OUTINGS THAT WOULD COST A LOT IF PRODUCED BY A COMMERCIAL COMPANY. THEY ARE CONDUCTED FOR THE LOVE OF PROVIDING UNIQUE EXPERIENCES FOR THE MEMBERS. ********We meet in front of the Union hotel in Occidental. We will drive up to the very hidden property in the redwoods from the Hotel.

• Our first stop will be to walk & explore the ancient & huge trees hidden in this private grove. This unique forest has the ability to create it's own weather. One of the trees has a small colony of little Brown Bats. Hopefully they will be home for us to see, hear & photograph.

***NOTE: The new baby Clouded Leopard has arrived. Unbelievably adorable. He was Only 4 pounds. See him up close. But he is about 30 lbs now & has his own playground. They grow up fast!. Don't even think of missing this amazing experience !
From here we will travel a short way to the hidden Sanctuary of 18 unique & endangered Wildcats. This is not a zoo. You will be up close & may even partially interact & with one of the Cheetahs.
The last last new baby Cheetah came to them just before Covid shut things down. (Bummer) The baby has now grown up .

Such as: The cool Fish cat. The amazing Ocelot, The most beautiful Snow Leopard & many more fabulous wildcats.
Following our guided educational & photo tour we will break for a light wine luncheon. I'm sure many of you will have questions.
The Wildcat Foundation is a Non profit organization. The only one of its kind in Ca.

NOTE: A new baby has arrived ! Its an adorable mini Sand Cat from the Sahara Desert area. He was 1.5 lbs. & now is a whopping 4.5 lbs. And looks like Yoda when his ears are down. Experience an up close visit with this shy wild cat. ****Plus don't miss the new young Clouded Leopard. A real bouncing ball of energy. And also the jumping jelly bean black Leopard.
