Our members love travel, adventure, culture, and of course photography! Many of our events & activities are great for taking pictures, sharing pictures, and learning! We even do some big trips around the world and locally in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Day Boat Excursions *For our two full days staying on Santa Cruz, we’ll head off island on exciting day trips via boat and in search of biological wonders! * Santa Fe Island, White Sands, Cactuses, & Giant Iguanas: White sand beaches surrounded by sea lion colonies lined with endemic cactus forests. * South Plaza Islet, Land of Red & Yellow: An impressive cactus forest where colorful yellow and red land iguanas live. * North Seymour Island: This island is the home to large nesting colonies of blue-footed boobies (awesome to photograph!). * The tours to all islands listed above are subject to availability and regulation guidelines. The park service may change regulations and rotate the islands due for access with little or no prior notice. The above islands are the most likely places to be visited and may be substituted with other nearby sites/islands if needed. Part II: Private Luxury Yacht Island Hopping We’ll board our very own private cruising yacht and embark on a journey throughout the eastern Galapagos Islands. *For this tour, rooms range from standard, standard plus, & jr. suite. The first guests to sign up will automatically be placed in the standard plus rooms. ([masked]) * Dragon Hill: Bright, pink flamingos thrive across a typical dry zone vegetation. * Bartolome Island: The lava bombs, spatter, & cinder cones were formed by different volcanic parasitic cones. * Rabida Island: Dark-red sand covers the unique beaches of Rabida, home to thriving sea lions colonies. * Santiago Island; “Buccaneers Cove” & Espumilla Beach: This is an amazing location due to the remains of an eroded shoreline. * Black Turtle Cove: Four species of mangrove crowd and form an internal lagoon & turtle sanctuary. * As always this entire trip will be amazing for photography and our tour leader will be on hand to help those who want to learn more about using their camera’s, taking better pictures, etc. (PhotoFly Travel Club adventures are laid back and are not workshop style based tours.
