While Python has more broad usage on desktop and backend/server development, recently it's making significant inroads into the frontend. This talk covers the end-to-end development of a single page application (SPA) leveraging cutting-edge Python in the browser, plus when and why you might want to do the same.
Mahmoud Hashemi - PSF Fellow, sedimental.org

Mahmoud is an avid Pythonist and PSF Fellow who's led teams at PayPal, SimpleLegal, and Stripe. He's released several popular open-source Python projects, with emphasis on robustness, performance, and maintainability. These days he's focusing on building product at the intersection of finance and technology. He also co-organizes the Pyninsula Python meetup here in the Bay Area.
