Abstract: Deploying machine learning models, especially transformers, in production is a significant challenge. At Sentry, we created a new grouping algorithm using embeddings. While it's feasible in a Jupyter notebook, scaling it in production is complex. This talk will cover:

  • Our Flask service for model deployment
  • Use of PyTorch and the Sentence Transformers Library
  • Benchmarking with Locust
  • Managing CPU and GPU inferences
