Day 1 (Sat)
We kick off early Saturday morning as we cross into Johor and head straight to one of its best-kept secrets — 2 stunning Blue Lakes nestled amidst lush hills and rugged cliffs. A short hike rewards us with panoramic views of the sapphire-blue waters — a picture-perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers alike.

Next, we take a leisurely drive into the laid-back Kota Tinggi Old Town, where heritage meets hearty local flavours. Stroll past pre-war shophouses, explore indie cafés, and savour Johor-style laksa, otak-otak, chendol and other Malaysian local delicacies & authentic bites before we continue our journey to the coastal town of Mersing.

In Mersing, soak in the laidback charm of this quaint seaside village. Wander through its beautiful street murals, enjoy the river breeze, and feast on fresh seafood by the jetty as the sun sets. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and prepare for the island-hopping adventure the next day.
