TLDR: Phones dead, flight delayed, nothing to do but talk to the strangers next to you - that's the meetup. Choose your pretend home city and name. No contacts exchanged, And we'll see what we end up talking about.

Was there ever a time when you were stuck at an airport, your phone almost dead, with no choice but to talk to the folks around you? You discussed all kinds of things, perhaps because everyone knew they would never meet again. People left when it was time for their flights, but never bothered to ask for a name or contact, because it didn't matter.

Let's try this. We'll pretend we're travelers stuck at an airport, nothing to do but talk. We'll each get a label — pen in a fake name, and the name of a pretend somewhere you're from. No exchanging contacts. We will come as strangers and leave as stranger-friends who may never meet again. Let's see what we end up talking about.
