Stories of Kaohsiung, with Lisa

We recently met Lisa at our Vietnam food meet. Lisa is from Kaohsiung, Taiwan's big harbour city in the south. Lisa has kindly agreed to share what growing up there was like.

How was growing up in Kaohsiung and Taiwan like? Did everyone dream of moving to Taipei or abroad? How was the local music and cultural scene? And what felt different, or familiar, when she first left Taiwan and later came to Singapore?
