A chance to meet like-minded individuals in the Hillsborough area.
This group meets for social events to discuss deeper topics such as psychology, philosophy, physics, cosmology or whatever your passions (special interests) are. We also play chess, create art, and write.
You don’t need to be a genius to join, just a curious person who enjoys thinking deeply/creatively about things.

We meet outside the Courtside Cafe in Hillsborough Park (look for the support dog in an orange vest and a pram!), then depending on people's preference, head inside to a local cafe (Courtside Cafe, Tramstop, Cat Corner, ect) or grab a drink and sit outside.
Socials at the moment are semi-structured, first with new people introducing themselves and sharing their passions and special interests.
Then it will either be Group Think or a Creative Challenge for the next 20 – 30 mins.
Group Think – A volunteer opts to discuss a theory or fact they are interested in, teaching the rest of the group, whilst the group offers their own insights, objections and questions.
Creative Challenge – A volunteer suggests a creative prompt, such as a short themed poem, story or drawing, a photography hunt, ect.
After that, it is more of a relaxed, free social, where people can chat about anything they like, play games (I will bring a chess set) and get to know one another better.
