Lead Lunch and Learn
Join us for a lunchtime educational workshop. Get empowered with women and non-binary leaders at this powerful educational event!
Ditch the elevator pitch- our events support connection and collaboration! At She Goes High, we don't blindly pass out business cards or ask, "so, what do you do?"
We support the human BEHIND the business, not the humas AS the business.
WHEN: The first Wednesday of the month, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, 225 S Meldrum St · Fort Collins, CO
COST: Free!
WHO IT'S FOR: Our events are neurodivergent-affirming and designed for introverts, by introverts. (The extroverts show up anyway!) We are a safe space and LBTQIA+ folx are welcome here!
ABOUT OUR PRESENTATION:
You know that getting the right financial plan in place is important but every time you sit down with someone you’re completely paralyzed. Between all the industry jargon plus the intimidation factor of talking about money, it can be hard to get your plan in place.
Join Ashley for Demystifying Finance. In her presentation, we will
- Define common finance terms and acronyms to create a shared language
- Explore how different investments fit together in a portfolio
- Put finance in the context of the present moment and your small business, so you'll know what your next best step is to move forward on your financial journey
Plan to walk away with a better understanding of the world of finance and how it translates to you.
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Ashley Lauwereins (she/her) is a financial services advisor with Core Financial. She has worked in the financial industry since 2020 and joined Core Financial December 2023. Since beginning her career, Ashley has passed FINRA Series licenses 6, 63, 7 and 66, holds her Life and Health licenses, as well as a license for Long Term Care. Ashley also earned her Financial Services Certified Professional® (FSCP®) designation from the American College in 2023.
Ashley joined the financial services industry because she is passionate about demystifying finance and educating her clients about wealth management in every-day English. In addition to education, Ashley’s core values are centered around quality client service, organization, and building lasting relationships.
When not in the office Ashley enjoys making jewelry, running, cheering on the Denver Broncos, attending concerts, and traveling with her husband.

ABOUT OUR LOCATION:
We are located in Old Town Fort Collins, west of College. Free parking is available. Depending on where you park, you can stay for 2 hours or without a time limit. Handicap parking is available right next to the building. There are wide sidewalks leading to the building and wheelchair accessible ramps on the sidewalks. The entrance of the building is level with the sidewalks.
Inside the space, you can find us in the boardroom. Once you come into the building it is the big room with the double doors between the two hallways. The space is set up with long tables in a circle. There are regular height chairs with soft backs and seats positioned on the outside of the circle at the table. As you go towards the back of the room, you’ll find a window that connects the kitchen to the boardroom. You can get complimentary coffee and tea by moving through the open doorway to the kitchen.
Restrooms can be accessed by continuing to the back, past the kitchen. Once you can’t go back anymore, turn to the left, and bathrooms are on the right. They have doors that push open. There is 1 ADA accessible toilet and 1 non-ADA accessible toilet.
We look forward to meeting you at the event!
